Establishment and Facilities of the Learning Resource Center

The Learning Resource Center was established along with the foundation of the Indonesia International Institute for Life-Sciences as its parent institution in 2014. It was built to support the teaching and learning process for the institute’s academics. Located on the 4th floor of the campus building, the Learning Resource Center occupies an area of 230 m² and is equipped with various facilities, including a circulation counter, visitor bag storage, bookshelves, reading tables and chairs, a discussion room, and a conference room. These facilities are designed to create a conducive learning environment for students and faculty members.

Expansion of Study Programs and Collections

Initially, the Learning Resource Center housed collections related to six undergraduate study programs: Bioentrepreneurship, Bioinformatics, Biomedicine, Biotechnology, Food Science, and Food Technology. Over time, as the institute expanded its academic offerings, the collection also grew. With the addition of three new study programs—Pharmacy, Master in Biomanagement, and International Business Management—the Learning Resource Center has continuously developed its resources to meet the evolving academic needs of the institution.
